[Limited Time Only] BLACKZMITH Gallery - IRIS ‧ Goddess of Rainbow Crossover Art Exhibition

BLACKZMITH keeps abreast of fashion trends and artistic sensibilities, elevating fashion and art. BLACKZMITH Optical and MUST Eyewear jointly present the "IRIS ‧ Goddess of Rainbow Crossover Art Exhibition," inviting contemporary art masters from both regions, including Mok Wai Hong, Chen Fei, Chow Chun Fai, Bi Heng, and Logan Chan, to exhibit over twenty artworks, including special edition glasses, paintings, models, and fashion items such as rain boot bags.

This art exhibition is inspired by the ancient Greek word IRIS. In Homer's epic "Iliad," Iris refers to the Goddess of the Rainbow, who connects heaven and earth like a rainbow, serving as a messenger between gods and humans, her arrival bringing color and light. IRIS also refers to the iris, an important structure in the eye responsible for bringing light into the eye and refracting it to see different colors.

Starting with the theme "Feel the beauty of art from the window of the soul, construct a unique visual art," Mok Wai Hong's artwork "Our Dream City" outlines the dreamland (Hong Kong). Visitors to the exhibition can obtain strings of different colors from various exhibits and tie them to "Our Dream City." After three weeks, the appearance of the artwork will change due to the interaction of the guests, creating a unique and personalized piece; another exhibit, the PabePabe rain boot bag, features a "unique shape" as its selling point, incorporating artistic elements. One of the highlight exhibits, the MYTH - DEMETER-OP Rainbow Collection, is designed with the concept of a rainbow, limited to a geometric pair of sunglasses with rainbow-colored lenses; and the MUST by grafix - Black Rainbow Collection special edition glasses, each pair hand-colored, with pigments dragged to form rainbow colors, making them as unique as works of art.

The exhibition runs from October 20 to November 15, 2020, at the uniquely artistic BLACKZMITH Gallery - Tsim Sha Tsui Concept Store, offering an alternative visual experience.
