"Echizen Province" is the old name for Fukui Prefecture, Japan's eyewear mecca, and "Jinroku" is the tribute paid by Masayuki Hasegawa, an eyewear craftsman from Sabae City, to his father's name.
Born in Echizen City, Fukui Prefecture, Masayuki Hasegawa has been passionately crafting various handmade eyewear for fifty years. To this day, he remains active in the handmade eyewear industry as a renowned eyewear craftsman from Sabae City. Collaborating with the brand's eyewear designer, Narushi Yonetani, their synergy of innovative designs and traditional eyewear manufacturing techniques has made "Echizen no Kuni Jinroku Saku" products highly favored by handmade eyewear enthusiasts.
