Taylor with Respect - Dune C3 [New]

TAYLOR WITH RESPECT is a Japanese handcrafted eyewear brand founded in 2017 by veteran eyewear designer Satoshi Waki. The "TAYLOR" in the brand name is inspired by "Tailor," aptly highlighting the brand's mission to create exquisite eyewear that fits the needs of different individuals, much like custom-tailored clothing. At the same time, the entire brand name expresses the designer's respect for his grandfather, who ran a tailoring business, and for the craft of eyewear.
Each pair of glasses is meticulously crafted by artisans in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture. To create glasses that feel custom-made and comfortable, the designer has incorporated multiple details into the finished product. One of the most unique is the Damaged colour aging technique, which creates a strong aged look on the frame surface, adding a vintage feel to a retro design that suggests the passage of time. Designed specifically for Asian facial structures, the designer used S-shaped lines to create flexible temples that provide a good fit around the head. The unique T-shaped hinge not only offers a distinctive look but also helps to distribute pressure at the joint between the frame front and temples, while the integrated hinge design increases precision between components. The nose pads are made of deformation-resistant titanium, combined with an anti-slip coating, significantly enhancing durability. These multiple details embody the spirit of Japanese craftsmanship, and the quality is absolutely unquestionable.
