Taylor with Respect - Merge C2 [New]

TAYLOR WITH RESPECT is a Japanese handcrafted eyewear brand founded in 2017 by veteran eyewear designer Satoshi Waki. The "TAYLOR" in the brand name is inspired by "Tailor," aptly highlighting the brand's objective of developing exquisite eyewear treasures that, like bespoke tailoring, fit the needs of different people. At the same time, the entire brand name also expresses the designer's respect for his grandfather, who ran a tailor shop, and for eyewear craftsmanship.
Each pair of glasses is made by artisans in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture. To create customized and comfortable eyewear, the designer has incorporated multiple details into the finished product, such as the unique "Damaged colour" aging technique, which creates a strong sense of agedness on the frame's surface, adding a nostalgic, time-worn feel to the retro look. Designed for Asian facial features, the designer used an S-shaped line to create flexible temples that provide a good wrap around the head. The unique T-shaped hinge not only provides recognition but also distributes pressure at the junction of the frame front and temples, while the integrated hinge configuration increases the precision between components. The nose pads are made of deformation-resistant titanium,加上防滑導膜, further enhancing durability. These multiple details embody the spirit of Japanese craftsmanship, and the quality is absolutely undeniable.
