Taylor with Respect - Mesa C5 [New]

TAYLOR WITH RESPECT is a Japanese handmade eyewear brand founded in 2017 by veteran eyewear designer Satoshi Waki. The "TAYLOR" in the brand name is inspired by "Tailor", which perfectly illustrates the brand's mission to develop eyewear treasures that are tailored to the needs of different people, just like a tailor-made suit. At the same time, the entire brand name also expresses the designer's respect for his grandfather, who owned a sewing business, and for eyewear craftsmanship.
Each pair of glasses is meticulously crafted by artisans in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture. To create glasses that are as comfortable as custom-made pieces, the designer incorporates multiple intricate details into the finished product. One of the most distinctive features is the unique Damaged color aging technique, which creates a strong aged look on the frame surface, adding a vintage charm to the retro style. Designed specifically for Asian face shapes, the designer uses S-shaped lines to create flexible temples that provide a good wrap around the head. The unique T-shaped hinge not only provides distinctiveness but also disperses pressure at the joint between the frame front and temples, while the integrated hinge configuration increases the precision between components. The nose pads are made of deformation-resistant titanium, coupled with an anti-slip guide film, greatly enhancing durability. These multiple details embody the spirit of Japanese craftsmanship, and the quality is absolutely unquestionable.
