MYKITA 是由 Harald Gottschling 、 Daniel Haffmans、 Philipp Haffmans 以及 Moritz Krueger 四個人於 2003 年在德國創立。其中 Philipp Haffmans 和 Harald Gottschling 曾是 ic! berlin 眼鏡的創始人。MYKITA 眼鏡修正了兩位設計師在 ic! berlin 時代無法克服的設計瑕疵，如鏡臂的矽膠不再藏污納垢或有破損。而鏡臂容易脫落，以及鏡架無法依配戴者兩耳高低不同作調整的問題，都在 MYKITA 的眼鏡中一一克服。 MYKITA 眼鏡是由厚度僅 0.5 mm，質量最佳的醫學級不銹鋼製作而成，其無螺絲、無焊接點的專利鉸鏈設計，為眼鏡重量減至最輕巧。設計大膽而新穎，而堅固的材質也成就了輕巧和舒適效果，使 MYKITA 繼續駕馭整個追求極輕眼鏡的市場。
