"Sugimoto Kei" eyeglasses are produced in Fukui Prefecture, a world-renowned mecca for eyewear. The brand's mission is to use carefully selected Japanese materials and leverage the excellent craftsmanship of its artisans. The craftsmen create highly distinctive "thick-cut frames" from acetate sheets measuring 8-12mm in thickness. While seemingly substantial, the design incorporates "front-to-back balance considerations" and "temple fit," showcasing the artisans' superb skill, resulting in glasses that are both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable.
